Stanton Online, was originally created for Microsoft's Schools on the web contest in 1995. With a tight deadline our web team threw together a site rather quickly. It was poorly done and didn't look good at all. However another student by the name of Matt Flagg was also designing a site for this contest. His site was nicely done with an aesthetic taste that only a digital artist could render. However it had one problem, no content. Since our site was the one sanctioned by the school it had plenty of content. So seizing the opportunity we combined the two web sites merging his great design with our strong content. Needless to say we were disqualified for being to high tech. MSIE 2.0 couldn't handle our site. Since then the Seniors and Juniors who helped create our page have graduated. Matt Flag is busy with the IB program, and students who are interested in updating Stanton Online run a bit scarce. Which leaves me and a some other students that have managed to help type up some of the information. I have recently redone the design and I am going through an upgrade that will turn Stanton Online from a little spot to get teachers voicemail numbers to a bustling web site catering to the students interests including vast areas on sports, campus life, and individual teacher pages.
